Delicious beer and good service! We'd love to come back!

Food is not worth the money. Canned mushrooms and ready-made sauce for the schnitzel. Staff very inflexible. 20 seconds after our order one of us wanted to reschedule. According to the service, it would no longer have been possible. We will not visit this restaurant again.

Super cozy place - I loved the feel of it. I can imagine that before Covid this was a very happening and fun place to have a beer/meal. We had a nice lunch here. Service was great and the pork sausage and gluhwein was just what I needed on a chilly day.

Delicious beer but the food well. I was with 3 friends with you, unfortunately what you hear is true, the food is sometimes not at all for the price. The fried potatoes for the knipp and schnitzel cold. The schnitzel, which costs 17.80, comes with bag sauce and champions from the can, simply outrageous for the price. The 2 stars only for the delicious ?

Very good beer, plentiful, tasty dishes. Unfortunately we waited almost half an hour for the first beer. In the end, no comprehensible invoice was issued, but the waiter only came with the device for electronic payment, on which the amount to be paid was displayed. The request for a subsequent invoice could not be fulfilled because the data allegedly could no longer be called. Therefore the devaluation to three stars.

Schüttinger is a reliable spot to grab a beer (or two) and some traditional German grub. They have pork knuckle, schnitzels, wursts as well as some local specialties. Also special is they serve their own brewed beer . The place is a little dark (no windows) but is laid back and just off the market square (Marktplatz), so it's a good place for visitors after some sightseeing.

I can really recommend this restaurant! The chairs are very comfortable and the distance between the tables is extremely reasonable. There you certainly don't get the feeling of eating fish in a can, the waitresses are always very personable and extremely courteous. This gives me and my husband a lot of joy with every visit. What I can really support are the desserts. It was our fourth time there and tried a little something new each time we visited.

Love their red ale and the local cuisine. Could improve cleanliness and service.

Quaint, spacious brewery cellar with access to Böttcherstraße. The menu offers the right dishes for the tasty Schüttinger beer. From knuckle to schnitzel to knipp, but also labskaus and matjes. And the team is super friendly. Highly recommended during or after a stroll through the city. Especially when you no longer have to drive a car.

Good German public, reasonable prices for the center. In happy hours, beer costs 2.5 euros. There are options for vegetarians: vegetarian schnitzel, salads, potatoes, pizza. The atmosphere of a typical bar, you can sit in the noisy room of the fans and feel the whole atmosphere, but you can also sit away at separate tables and a little privacy. The service is fast enough and good. Located next to Market Square, there are two entrances, the other is next to the house with bells.

My favorite restaurant in Bremen! It's a little hard to find but worth it. The ambiance is old German bier haus. I'm sure it can get loud at night but I've always gone early. I love the fish & chips served with chutney and the best tartar sauce.

I was there for three times, typical north german food which for a pork lover is a good place to eat; very good local draught beer and nice ambience. A good quality service!

A brewery where you can try a good craft beer and eat a good sausage XXL. The negative part is that it is a very crowded place with lots of noise.

This place only has two beers on draft (red and a light). The food is okay and you need to pay for the restroom. (Also for you Americans meatloaf in germany is not like meatloaf in america it is essentially hotdog loaf)

If visiting Bremen, a visit to Schüttinger is a must! Go at happy hour and get the freshly brewed beers for €2.50. Absolutely beautiful to drink! The food is very good too, with generous portions and good prices. Staff are very nice, and the place is really quirky. Visit and enjoy!

The entrance is very inconspicuous, as soon as you enter the place it becomes cozy. A very pleasant atmosphere where you can spend a convivial evening with friends. The service is great. You can also inspect the old copper kettles there. I really liked the red beer!

Great atmosphere, excellent food. We ordered pork schnitzel and pork hock. Both dishes are delicious. The portion for the pork hock is unbelievablely big!! The skin is so crispy and crunchy! Highly recommended!!

The ambience and the beer are really good. Unfortunately it was already. We came spontaneously and four of us sat at a table opposite the bar. Although the place was not full (see photos) we were not considered at all. After ten minutes, I got up when an operator ran past. The next surprise, my son wanted to drink a Fanta, they would not have. So choose something else. When the drinks came we asked for the menu. We came mainly to eat something. But now we were not considered again. The waiter came over more often and I made the eye contact several times. We then drank and are after 15min. went. When we paid, we approached him and were told, "We could have said something". When asked why we wanted the menu, he had no answer. We should have read through the recessions before, which was often criticized here.

Excellent food, good beer (just on the tap though), tolerant (even if a tad slow) service. Definitely a place to visit, but don't expect large beer selection. We arrived laden with baggage and a very active small child - no one cared even when our kid chased other kids that were already there. From the outside, it looked uninviting, but on the inside we liked it. They only had one beer (helles); it was good - not perfect, had a bit of an aftertaste, but overall great. The food (grilled meats with green beans and sour cream potato and grit sausage with onions and potatoes) was simply excellent.

Service is mediocre and slow but dishes are quite alright along with tasty beers.

I expected strawberry jam schnitzel, but unfortunately it is a cream sauce. But it was really delicious and I ate well! Especially, it was crisp on the outside and moist inside and out!

Just tasted the Pilsner. Really malty. Really light. Easy to drink. A bit sugary at the end. Nice brewpub/restaurant with authentique decoration. Don’t know if they brew in it but installation seems functional.

Pretty good place, nice beer, good food and large portions. Bremen knipp is kinda overrated and very oily but has a unique taste.

What an experience! My favourite restaurant in Bremen for authentic German cuisine a very cozy, dimly lit and romantic location. Although it's only been open since 1990 it feels like it could have been open since 1890. The food portions are massive but it's nice to be able to take your time, enjoy the atmosphere and drink a nice cold beer (get the maß if you're really thirsty). It's quite busy and lively in the evenings, so even though the seating isn't the most comfortable on the wooden benches, it's easy to spend hours here.

I only had beer, not bad, nothing fancy, just lite or dark.

Excellent pub with its brewery! Interesting interior, multi-level halls, all in authentic style !! Liked light beer) special price of 2.6 € per glass until 19:00. After already standard prices of 4.8 € per glass 0.4 liters. The sausage XXL is really huge, about 40 cm in length + a portion of French fries. You can safely take it. "Fish chips" are two pieces of fish fillet fried in batter + a portion of French fries. Just as boldly you can take on 2x. If you plan to sit for a long time, then everyone can be served in whole portions;) Everything is delicious, the beer is excellent, the service is good! I recommend and we'll come in case one more time;)

Very good German food. Usually crowded in the evening. The atmosphere is nice for having drinks and dinner with friends and work colleagues. There is happy hour for beers before 7pm if I remember it correctly.
